J. Michael Jensen, M.S.F.S., CFP, CFBS, AEP, has a Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) from The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA, a CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation from The College for Financial Planning in Denver, CO, a CFBS (Certified Family Business Specialist) designation, from The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA, has earned the designation of Accredited Estate Planner and has a BA from DeSales University in Center Valley, PA.
Mike has been in practice for over 25 years and has clients throughout the United States. He has been an adjunct member of the faculty of the University of South Florida School of Medicine for over 20 years. He is a nationally known speaker, has written articles, and taught numerous classes on wealth accumulation, planning and investment management. He is well respected in the Tampa Bay community, and has served on boards at The Academy of the Holy Names and several other not-for-profit organizations. He is active in organizations such as the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council, Leadership Tampa Group of the Greater Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, and the Financial Planning Association.
Mike is an avid runner and has completed 27 marathons. He is also a member of numerous charitable organizations and is helping to provide scholarships for underprivileged children in his community.
Mike is president of the Advisory Board for St. Peter Claver Catholic School which is the oldest, historically black school in Florida founded in 1894. Mike also sits on the board of the Police Athletic League (PAL), where he heads the boxing program.
